Crimson Oath Tattoo offers tattoo services to minors (16+). We require that the client be accompanied by a legal guardian, and that both must bring government-issued ID to all appointments. Both consultations and tattoo appointments. At the time of the tattoo appointment, your artists will photocopy the client’s ID and attach it to the back of the consent and release waiver, which is completed at the start of the tattoo appointment.
We are proud to provide all clients with the opportunity to receive high-quality tattoos from our reputable studio.
Our artists reserve the right to refuse a placement or design on a minor regardless of consent given by their legal guardian. This includes, but is not limited to, tattoos on the face, neck, and hands.
Yes! When our artists have availability, they are happy to offer short-notice bookings. We encourage you to give the shop a call at 250-545-0288 or check our social media and our artists' individual accounts for recent availability posts.
We also have a neon sign in our window which lights up when we have time available, so feel free to stop by if you're in the area!
While consultations can be done over the phone, we strongly prefer in-person meetings at our studio, particularly for more intricate projects. Drawing reviews and secondary consultations are offered in order to fine-tune the design before your appointment arrives. Drawing reviews are typically scheduled the week prior to your tattoo appointment.
Consultations are complimentary, they are meant for you and your artist to decide if you want to commit. We believe in fostering open communication and collaboration between our clients and artists. It's important to our team that every client feels comfortable discussing their ideas, concerns, and expectations before committing to the tattooing process.
It also gives you the opportunity to meet your artist, view our studio environment, and ask any questions you may have about the tattooing process.
Please refrain from bringing any guests without prior discussion with your artist. While we understand that you may desire support during your tattoo session, we kindly ask that you request permission in advance. We aim to limit the number of individuals present at any given time. If all artists are actively working, we may not be able to accommodate additional guests.
If you and your partner or friend wish to get tattooed simultaneously, you have the option to book multiple artists for the same time block. This allows both of you to receive your tattoos concurrently while ensuring a smooth and efficient process for everyone involved.

GCs are available for purchase through each individual artist. In order to ensure we're matching clients with the right artist, we often reserve the sale of GCs to existing clients or tattoo concepts that have been approved by an artist.
Please contact us if you'd like to book a surprise consultation as a gift for your loved one.
Please be aware that GCs are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another client or artist. GCs can act as a deposit if one is not placed with your artist at the time of booking. Please note GCs are valid one year from purchase date and will be forfeited if no communication attempt is made within the allotted time.
Gift certificates are for a set monetary value that is translated to your artist's rate at the time of use. They are not purchased for the exact cost of a tattoo. Please note that delaying the use of a gift certificate by six months or more may result in a change of the artist's rate, availability and artist location. Gift certificates, like deposits, are not held by Crimson Oath Tattoo and are the responsibility of the individual artist to fulfil the certificate cost.

We will send you a message to confirm any scheduled appointments. You can expect a text message and an email with a confirmation link, along with your booking details. In order to reduce cancellations we require clients to confirm their appointments. If you realize you are unable to make your appointment please cancel your appointment as soon as possible. To learn more about cancelling within 48 hours of your appointment, review our cancellation policy.
If you are regularly out of cell service or internet access, please let us know ahead of time so we can turn off your confirmation messages.
We are an open floor plan studio, so privacy from other artists and clients is minimal. Our partition walls offer privacy from our lounge area and front windows. Consultations are typically held at the front of the studio. During a consultation you are able to view the back of the studio to see what the stations look like.
We encourage an educational environment, artists are often discussing approaches and sharing their techniques with each other to encourage growth.
We play a variety of music. Bring headphones to tune everything out and get in the zone.
We aim for a scent-free environment, please avoid wearing perfume products.
Bathroom is located in the back corner of the studio.
Julia, our receptionist, is in the studio a few days per week and can help you schedule an appointment with the right artist for you. She is often the one setting up your appointments via email and answering phones.
